KDF SOLDIERS KILLED IN ARMY BASE ATTACK AT EL EDDE SOMALIA BY NIXCY MURAGE.
The Kenya Defence Forces(KDF) on Friday 15/1/2016 deployed fighter jets and helicopter gunships in a massive counter offensive against the terrorist group Al-Shabaab following an attack in El-Adde,in Gedo Somalia.

Regrettably,some of our patriots in uniform paid their ultimate price on this very day when the year is still very young.It is heart breaking.
They did not die in vain because they were protecting Kenya from her enemies.
Their deaths confirms the danger we continue to face from extremists as a country.

 President Kenyatta who is also the commander in chief of the armed forces said that the troops who were deployed in  in Somalia in October 2011 to respond to numerous Al-shabaab infiltrators into North Eastern will keep staying in Somali land.
We send our Heart felt condolences to the families and friends of the Brave Patriots May their souls rest in eternal peace.
We deeply appreciate the sacrifices made by the Soldiers in defence of our democracy,our peace and security.
