| KDF on operation in Lamu county |

Three people were killed yesterday following an attack by suspected Al Shabaab militants at Kaisari Village in Pandanguo, Lamu County.
heavily armed gunmen are reported to have ambushed the village in the early morning attack where they torched a number of houses and several other people sustained injuries.
The Sunday incident came less than a week after a police lorry ran over an Improvised Explosive Device killing seven police officers.
This comes even as a major operation, Operation Linda Boni, enters its fifth month since it was launched by Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery on September 11, 2015.
