NANI ON THE VERGE OF REJOINING UNITED.

Former United winger Luis Nani.

Manchester United are mulling over a shock move for former player Luis Nani who spent eight seasons at United before being shipped out to Sporting Lisbon on loan and finally moving to Fenerbahçe last summer for £4.25m.
Once dubbed the heir apparent to Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani failed to hit the heights expected of him when Alex Ferguson spent €25.5m to bring him to the club in 2007, although he did help United win four Premier League titles and Champions League.
Many United fans were sad to see him go, but most agreed that they’d seen the best of him and it was time to move on.
No deal has been agreed yet but it’s claimed that United are willing to meet the player’s £6.2million release clause for what would surely be the most bizarre transfer of the summer that's apparently being pushed by new boss Jose Mourinho
