40 year old woman in Kimoriot village,Mochongoi of Baringo South Sub County allegedly butchered her husband last night after suspecting him of infidelity.
It is said that the suspect Pauline Chepkeyot did the heinous act at around 11 pm when the deceased was asleep after short quarrel ensued suspecting him of cheating .
A source who sought anonymity fearing victimization said that Chepkeyot had earlier had unresolved marital affairs conflict with her late husband Abraham Lomatia (45).
A neighbour who was woken up by the screams of the children said he saw the man lying lifeless in bed with deep cut on his neck that the mother had vanished.
He said the woman used to quarrel her husband for having affairs with other women outside and failing to cater for the basic family needs.

Kaunya said the suspect has already been arrested and she is
under the custody of police waiting for at Marigat police station as
police carry out investigations to ascertain the root cause of the sudden
murder, while the body is laid at Kabarnet County Hospital mortuary awaiting
post mortem.
