| man set a blaze after attacking mourners in Mtwapa kilifi county |
A middle aged man was burnt to death today at a funeral in Mtwapa, Kilifi, county after displaying a weird behavior, where he attacked mourners at a ceremony in the home of Erick Mechi by biting them uncontrollably but was chased away.
It is reported the man was suspected to be suffering from rabies and had moved to attack a lady identified as Gladys Shoka at her house.
According to Mechi, they heard Gladys shouting for help and upon responding to the distress call, they found the same man they had chased away.
It was then that the irate crowd descended upon the man brutally beating him before burning him beyond recognition the man's remains were taken to Coast General Hospital mortuary
