Kigumo Member of Parliament Jamleck Kamau and Senator Kembi Gitura are on a threat to be sued by Murang’a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria for defamation after linking him to violence.
Mwangi accused the two of linking him to violence without evidence after claiming he was using goons to intimidate fellow leaders and the alcoholics’ rehabilitation programme that was being undertaken at Ihura Stadium under his governorship constituted a militia group.
County Commissioner Kula Hache and county police boss Naomi Ichami are to summon the two leaders to confirm wa iria claims.
