Cord principal Raila Odinga on Tuesday hosted Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and other Pangani Six MPs over lunch at a restaurant in Nairobi.

Cord co-principals Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka were also present at the lunch date.

This comes days after Kuria was captured in a clip that went viral on social media making inflammatory and inciteful remarks targeting Raila.

In the video Kuria is said to have told, a church congregation in vernacular “shoot the man (Raila Odinga) for once and Luos will throw stones for one week and then he’ll be forgotten”.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria had revealed that he had a telephone conversation with Raila Odinga while in Pangani and had promised to have lunch with him once he gets out.

“I promised Raila that I was going to have lunch with him on only one condition and the condition is if he promises me that there is going to be my favourite vegetable of Osuga during that lunch,” said Kuria.

Raila Odinga has however forgiven Moses Kuria for calling for his assassination, an act that got him arrested.

“I forgive Moses Kuria. He was overwhelmed by a crowd and found himself uttering things he did not intend to. I am sure he did not mean it,” he said.
