Tension has risen along pokot and Elgeiyo
Marakwet border at Kowow village following the killing of two people along the
Kerio valley.
According to a villager, the
incident that took place yesterday morning happened when six people joined the neighboring
community in planting at a farm before they were ambushed by a group of armed
youths.
The Kolowa area chief Stephen Domorita said the
injured were taken to nearby health facility while the two bodies were taken by General Service Unit officers to Tot health center.
