President Uhuru Kenyatta is scheduled to make a brief visit to Uganda over the weekend to attend the Northern Corridor Infrastructure Projects Summit.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni will be joined by Rwanda President Paul Kagame and South Sudan’s Salva Kiir in attendance of the conference in Kampala on April 22 and 23.

At the top of the list are talks on the route that the proposed oil pipeline will take after Uganda signed an agreement with Tanzania, after already signing a deal with Kenya.

“Leaders will hear of progress in the implementation of a number of projects under this programme,” State House spokesman Manoah Esipisu said yesterday.
