HOMOSEXUALS SEEK COURT INTERVENTION OVER DISCRIMINATION.

Five homosexuals including a priest from Kisumu have moved to court seeking to have the government develop policies that prohibit discrimination on grounds of gender identity.

They claim to have been subjected to violations of their privacy, human dignity and security. 


The five petitioners, Mark Odhiambo the priest, John Mathenge, Maureen Ochieng, Mary Akoth Ochieng and Yvonne Powers want the rights of Sexual minorities to be protected.

Through their lawyer Otieno Ogola, they claim that the law enforcers have been subjecting gays, transgender and bisexuals to inhuman degrading treatment.
